Projecte d'investigació-acció: Violència escolar i integració social

En aquest treball es presenta el Projecte d'Investigació-Acció realitzat pel grup Lisis de la Universitat de València. Des del model ecològic, l'interès està a analitzar i prevenir la conducta violenta entre iguals a l'escola. Per a això s'ha aplicat en una mostra de 1319 adolescents d'edats compreses entre els 11 i els 16 anys una bateria d'instruments. En aquest article s'exposa, a tall d'exemple, un dels models d'equacions estructurals calculats en aquesta investigació. En concret s'analitza l'efecte directe i l'indirecte del clima familiar en la conducta violenta entre iguals i en el context escolar.
Training Programs – Training and Development Alternatives for Students

Abstract Training programs have been established as a form of training for adults, being generally used within companies’ personal development alternatives starting from the employees’ performance assessment processes. The current century requires a different way of approaching academic education, starting from the employers’ observation in reference to the lack of the graduates’ key competencies in the hiring process. We intend to demonstrate that it is useful to introduce training programs as an alternative form of education in academia, as well as in the high school environment.

Objective: The objectives of this clinical study were to: evaluate the survival of occlusal atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) restorations, on a longitudinal basis, in the primary molars of children; and compare the success rate of ART restorations placed in school environment and in hospital dental setup.Study design: One dentist placed 120 ART restorations in 60 five- to seven year-olds who had bilateral matched pairs of carious primary molars. ABSTRACTFrequently in scholar context orientation professionals should make an evaluation from the students who present ADHD, using different demonstrated efficacy assessment tools. Taking as reference point the current criteria for the diagnosis of this disorder a qualitative analysis of the items is performed in six scales and questionnaires to collect information from teachers to the ADHD assessment. Para saber qué ocurre en su enseñanza, se analiza por medio del instrumento Evocation 2005 y los registros pictóricos, las representaciones sociales que tiene una parte del alumnado de 1º ESO. Associations between Students’ Perceptions of the Psychosocial School Environment and Indicators of Subjective Health in Finnish Comprehensive Schools

The study examined how far students’ perceptions of the psychosocial school environment are associated with self‐rated health, life satisfaction and subjective health complaints. Students’ perceptions were associated with one or more indicators of subjective health. Perceived health was better in direct proportion to positive perceptions. Student relations and school strain were the factors that stood out in both genders, with regard to all the health indicators. School engagement, parental support and educational aspiration were found to be important for overall perceived health of the students.
